A poker face is a way of controlling one’s environment. An advantage that does not betray our emotions, and thus does not allow them to be used against us. This style of communication can also lead to bending the truth and deception.
Communicating with such a person is not easy: you have to read between their emotions. And if necessary, it’s better to ask and make sure that we actually receive an honest opinion – regardless of the extent to which we intend to take it into account.
