Speaking with users using a clear and understandable structure is one of the most desirable communication skills for a reason. It is not common and causes difficulty for many people. Wanting others to conform to the way you speak (because it’s cool and is yours) is as common as it is unreasonable. We are diverse and the lack of one skill is compensated for by the presence of others.
It is from this diversity that the strength of diverse teams comes. The key is to be able to fine-tune your communication skills in such a way that they are on the same wavelength – to communicate. If you don’t like the fact that someone’s story is a bit chaotic, then ask ordering questions, use your strength. This is a good first step towards mutual synchronization.
