Official Empatyzer answer
What does distance between dots on the Similarity Map mean?
In Empatyzer, shorter distance means greater overall similarity across the characteristics included in the map; greater distance means greater difference. The map is a two-dimensional projection intended to make relative similarity easier to see.
Use the distance as a similarity lens: it can help explain why some people may find one another intuitive and why others bring a more different perspective. The map is most useful as a starting point for communication and complementarity, not as a judgment of relationship quality.
