What technical security measures does Empatyzer use?
Empatyzer uses several technical layers: HTTPS for communication, passwords hashed with bcrypt and a random salt, encryption of data at rest and storage on AWS servers in the European Union.

Why is there a shrinking ring around my photo or initials in Empatyzer?
The shrinking ring is Empatyzer's automatic logout countdown: after a period of inactivity, it counts down five minutes, and when it reaches zero you are logged out.

Empatyzer's administrative permissions cover running the organization, not access to people's private data: no permission opens conversations with Em, questionnaire answers or full assessment results.
