# Is Empatyzer a tool for evaluating, monitoring or rating employees?

No. Empatyzer does not measure performance, monitor employees or rate people. It is a development tool that helps people understand themselves and others and prepare important conversations at work.

Empatyzer is also not a system for recruitment or HR decisions. Conversations with Em stay private, and the full assessment belongs to the employee. The organization sees aggregated, anonymous usage statistics that are not designed for tracking individuals. Administrators see the data needed to manage the organization, such as each member’s name, email address, join date and whether they have completed a questionnaire, but not their questionnaire answers or private conversations.
