# Do I need to install anything to use Empatyzer on a computer or phone?

No. Empatyzer works in a web browser, so you can use it on a computer and on a phone.

Sign in with email and password, Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn. On a phone, supervisors and shift leaders can prepare a conversation during a shift, including at night, because Em is available around the clock. On a shared device, automatic logout protects your conversations: after a period of inactivity, a ring around your photo or initials counts down five minutes and then logs you out.
